The completion of Woolworths Flaxmere reflects the power of collaboration and a shared commitment to delivering quality outcomes for the local community. Working in partnership with TW Property, Woolworths, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider TW Group, TW Construction successfully delivered a modern retail development that will serve Flaxmere and the surrounding region for years to come.
The project transformed the site into a 3,460m² full-service supermarket, complemented by an additional retail tenancy and 171 customer car parks. From the earliest stages, the development benefited from strong stakeholder engagement and early contractor involvement, ensuring the project was carefully planned and efficiently delivered.
Construction commenced with extensive site preparation and civil works to establish the development platform. As the build progressed, structural steel and precast concrete panels were installed safely and efficiently, enabling the rapid completion of the building envelope and allowing interior works to advance. The successful integration of specialist services, refrigeration systems, retail fit-out requirements, and finishing trades was achieved through proactive coordination and strong communication across the project team.
